The Crippler is a Monster Truck in Count Spatula's gang who has been recurring until Cars 2. Most of his quotes are medical-related threats, as he is supposed to represent a wicked doctor.

Cars: The Video Game

The Crippler is a monster truck that came to Radiator Springs (along with Count Spatula and Ginormous) to race against Lightning, but was later beaten. He is not playable.

Cars: Mater-National Championship

The Crippler appears in Waypoint Races 2 and 3. He still isn't playable. He also makes a brief appearance in the game's intro, where Monster Mater pounds him into Luigi's Casa Della Tires of Tailfin Pass. His name string in this game only reads "Crippler", although "THE CRIPPLER" is still written on his side.

Cars: Race-O-Rama

The Crippler competes in all five Monster Truck Mayhem levels, still an NPC. Though he has playable data in the files of the game.

Livery

The Crippler is white with gray flames and a siren, air horn, and six exhaust pipes on his roof. He also has a cushion design and his name.

Personality

The Crippler is very aggressive and threatening, and will usually shout medical-related trashtalk upon overtaking, like that the enemy is requesting a shock treatment or "Patent is showing improvement".

Abilities

The Crippler's appearance and quotes could suggest he has some kind of knowledge on medical service, but in a very harsh way. There is no confirmation if his sirens are real or just decorations.

Trivia

• The Crippler is the only NPC monster truck to appear in the PlayStation 2 version of Cars: Race-O-Rama.
• The Crippler, Snot Rod, Tommy Joe, Lewis, Cletus, Buford, and Zeke are the only non-playable characters to appear in the intro of Cars: Mater-National Championship.
• When a modder makes Crippler playable and selects him in Cars: Race-O Rama. He will say "The paramedic is on his way" but the dialogue will be cut off due to him not having an character select animation loaded in the CS.mcf file. This suggests that he was planned to be playable at some point.
