Sally Carrera is a playable character in Cars: The Video Game and Cars 3: Driven to Win.
Cars: The Video Game
Story Mode
When Lightning awakes from his daydream, Sally greets him and tells him about the new competitors that have arrived in Radiator Springs. Not too soon after, Lightning drives up to her at her hotel, where she asks him to take a drive. However, trouble arrives when Mia and Tia overhear, as they challenge Sally to a race against themselves and Flo, the winner being able to take a drive with Lightning. Sally wins, and a few chapters later in the story, Sally challenges Lightning to the aforementioned drive, and after Lightning wins, Tailfin Pass is unlocked for exploration.
Arcade/VS Mode
Sally is a playable character that is unlocked by default in Arcade and VS Mode, and has 3 different alternate paint jobs.
Cars: Mater-National Championship
Sally does not actually appear in the game, but has been made playable in the PC version through modding using her files from the Xbox 360 version of Cars: The Video Game. A beta icon for Sally has also been discovered in the files of the Wii version of the game, implying that Sally was planned to be in the game at one point.
Cars: Race-O-Rama
Once again, Sally does not appear in the game, but her being in the game is implied by the books about the game which were made, where Sally appears alongside Lightning in the Santa Carburera scenes instead of Flo. Like with Mater-National, Sally has since been added into the game as a playable character using mods.
Cars 2: The Video Game
Sally again does not appear in the game, but Lightning mentions her with "This one's for you, Sally!" and ''Whoa! Don't tell Sally you're beating me.''
Cars: Fast as Lightning
Sally once more does not appear in-game, but Flo and Mater mention her when they want to be sent to the Cozy Cone.
Cars 3: Driven to Win
After not making a physical appearance in any game without mods in 11 years, Sally was revealed to be a playable character in the fifth game.

Cars:IGNITE Remake
Sally was confirmed to be a playable character in Cars:IGNITE, though no pictures or footage of her were ever taken. And seems like that will remain that way as the project was presumably cancelled.

Trivia
- Sally does not appear in any official media where Lightning is voiced by Keith Ferguson. However, this would have been broken had Sally actually been in Mater-National.
- A likely reason for Sally's absence in most games is due to EA owning the rights to Porsche in video games, and charging too much for the license to use it in the games, which that money could instead be used to make other features of the games better.
- For this reason, Sally's presence is sometimes blamed for being why Cars 3: Driven to Win is considered so lackluster, as the money that could have been used to make the game better instead went into getting the rights for Porsche. However, this theory falls flat as EA’s exclusivity rights expired in 2016, before Driven to Win started development.
- Other characters that resemble Porsches, like Candice and Gerald, are able to get away with it, as unlike Sally, they are not true Porsches. Their models are fairly different than any actual Porsches, and they do not sport the Porsche Logo.
- Only found within the files, Sally has several more alternate paint jobs in Cars: The Video Game, and have been made for both her models from the Wii and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
- Due to the project's possible cancellation, Sally is the only confirmed Cars:IGNITE character whose model was never shown.
