James P. Sullivan (called Sulley in the games) is a character in the first Cars movie, as well as Cars: Mater-National Championship and Cars: Race-O-Rama. He is the carified version of Sulley from Monsters, Inc..
Cars: Mater-National Championship
Bio
Sulley is the top Laugh Canister Collector at Monster Trucks Incorporated. He's looked up to by all the other trucks because he's the biggest, baddest, blue-ist thing on four gigantic wheels, but deep down inside, he's as gentle as a hybrid.
Role
Sulley appears as the opponent in all Mike and Sulley's Last Laugh levels in which he competes against Mike to see who can collect the most laugh points. Additionally, the sticker "James P. Sullivan Cup", which is awarded after winning all 3 Monster Truck Waypoint Races, is named after him. Sulley himself competes in the second and third races, both of which he is the fastest car. Sulley also makes a brief cameo in the end scene of Big and Strong Again, after Guido looks around after the white tires fall, along with Mike and Fletcher. Sulley is also playable in Arcade mode in Monster Truck Waypoint Races and Mike and Sulley's Last Laugh.
Cars: Race-O-Rama
Sulley returns in this game as a playable character in Monster Truck Mayhem races, unlocked when you get enough points. He also appears as an opponent in all five of them in Story mode.
Livery
Sulley is blue with purple spots and rims, with tan horns on his front side windows. His tires are much wider and slicker than the other Monster Trucks'.
Personality
Sulley was originally meant to scare others, but as of Mater-National, is meant to make others laugh. His bio describes him as not being very tough like most other Monster Trucks.
Abilities
Sulley's main skill is his ability to scare others, which in Monsters, Inc., he was at the absolute top of the game. He seems to have some sort of ability to warp between universes, as he and Mike are both from a different Pixar franchise (Monsters Inc.).
