Kabuto (codenamed Mach) is Mater's rival in the Tokyo Mater event.
Cars: Mater-National Championship
Kabuto does not actually appear, but has been added into the game as a playable character through modding.
Cars: Race-O-Rama
Kabuto appears in the Tokyo Mater event, where like in the Cars Toons Short of the same name, races against Mater up to the top of Tokyo Tower. He is not playable, due to being replaced by Dragon Lightning in Vs Mode.
Livery
Kabuto is gray with tons of black and red decals, a yellow roof-mounted spoiler, and Boost Tanks identical to those of Boost.
Personality
Kabuto is very mean and selfish, and likes to cheat whenever he is about to lose, similar to Chick Hicks.
Abilities
Kabuto is shown to have great drift racing skills, much like Koji.

- Kabuto's codename is a reference to his voice actor in the Cars Toons Short, Mach Tony Kobayashi.
